Maritime Museum Trip

On Tuesday 29th August Rooms 7, 11 and 12 went on a trip to the Maritime Museum. We saw the boats that they used to sail around New Zealand and the world. We enjoyed seeing what things used to look like not so long ago.

I had a Dream

Room 7 has been working on how to plan for our writing. We created a shared doc and brainstormed our ideas. This helped those who were struggling for ideas for their writing. We have shared some of our planning for our dream recounts. Enjoy.

Daffodil Day

Room 7 is working hard to create collages for Daffodil Day. We are raising money for the Cancer Society by selling stickers and Daffodils.

Thank You

Thank you Owairoa Netball Cub for donating Netball uniforms to Glen Taylor School. After sorting them into sizes and making sure we had enough sets of bibs the girls decided to try the uniforms on and head outside for a test run. We really appreciate your donation.

ALIM Maths

Some of the Room 7 students are lucky enough to be apart of the Glen Taylor ALIM Maths Programme. They are really enjoying what they are learning in Maths and are showing great confidence when trying new things.

ALIM Maths Programme

Some of the Room 7 boys are taking part in Miss O'Hanlon's ALIM Maths programme. These boys are lucky enough to get Math twice a day. They seem to be loving it and are enjoying using their knowledge during Room 7's Maths discussions.

Kawa of Care Evening

Today in Room 7 some of our students got to take their Chromebooks home. They invited their parents along to see how they responsibly manage their Chromebooks for learning. Here are some of our students and parents having an awesome time.

Connect 4

In today's session we have been focusing on connection and how this enhances our ability as teachers but that it also greatly benefits our learners.

At the completion of a creative day of learning we finalised and cemented our learning by completing a game of connect 4. Great way to end a successful day.
